How to do Google Maps
Hares are encouraged to play with Google Maps and/or Google Earth to locate runs, particularly out-of-town runs.
Best thing to do is start here, which is a central view of Dili. You can navigate yourself by holding down your mouse button and dragging around the image on the screen. You can use the + and - buttons plus the slider to zoom in and out. When you have the view you want, right click on the "Link" button at the top right of the map and select "Copy link location". Paste this into your email and you are done. Anyone clicking on that link (which looks like a bit of gibberish) should see the same view. You can also have a play with the "satellite", "terrain" and "map" buttons to see what you get.
You can go further if you wish and create your own markers which you can save to your own google account but I will leave that for you to investigate yourselves.
